About Me
I have a private practice in Santa Monica and teach graduate level courses at Antioch University. I formerly served as Executive Director and clinical supervisor to The Saturday Center for Psychotherapy and supervised training interns at the Los Angeles LGBT center, Maple Counseling center, Antioch Community Therapy Services (ACTS) and Southern California Counseling Center (SCCC).
I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in San Francisco, California. I completed my clinical training at the Saturday Center for Psychotherapy. I have provided psychotherapy internationally in Canada and England.
I conceptualize my work psychodynamically with an emphasis on relational work. I also do parts work, cognitive restructuring and utilize mindfulness techniques.
I am currently receiving training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. I completed training with The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) for MDMA assisted psychotherapy and will receive certifications from Numinus Wellness for MDMA, Psilocybin and Ketamine assisted treatments by the end of 2024. I will also have Certification with Polaris Insight Center for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy by the end of 2024. Ketamine has been legal for therapeutic use for quite some time and psilocybin and MDMA should be legal for therapeutic use by the end of 2024. These treatments are cutting edge and highly effective for the treatment of trauma, depression and anxiety related issues.
